I'm a Christian first and foremost.
And Mike Medved acts like he is a friend of Christianity and Christians, but maybe his intelligence is keeping him from getting saved. I know he has been wirnessed to, but still he refrains from salvation. Perhaps it's fear of loss of family and being denounced by his Rabbi as dead. But whatever his reason is for rejecting salvation it's really because he wants to run things his way and not be subject to God's rule. Medved's comments today about defending America as a morally upstanding country are contrary to what is consistently going on all around us in every sector of the USA. From small town to large metropolitan cities immorality is alive and doing very well.
Medved also claimed that church population is up higher than it's ever been. I'd sure like to know where the people who's facts he used got their information because nothing could be farther from the truth. It is well known in Christian Communities all across the nation that the average weekly attendance in churches is about 14-20%. And of that figure only about 20% actually really are Christians and the rest are what is known as nominal Christians. The numbers are far lower than Medved would have you believe. And of course lets not forget how Medved as of late has been telling us to over-look the fact that just because Mitt Romney is Mormon that it shouldn't hav any bearing on how we vote, but it's just that fact alone that should influence how we vote if we are Christains. Because all True believers of Jesus Christ know that Mormons are not Christians. So in all good conciousness if you are Christian how could one consider Medveds comments to be accurate? I wonder if Mike is going to vote for Romney? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he did since he keeps bringing it up.
If Mike Medved would accept the salvation of Jesus Christ and stop playing around like he knows so much about being a Christian when in fact he knows nothing of it because he has not the Spirit of Christ indwelling in him cannot argue for or about Christianity. And if he ever does get saved then I'm sure we would see an end to much of his retoric and sensationalism!
